The Rising Sun Inn is a 'freehouse' which means we are not tied to any brewery so can offer the very best beers from a range of excellent breweries, many from Cornwall and we occasionally stock guest beers and ciders from Devon and further afield.

We will usually have at least two of the three most popular and award-winning cask ales on tap from the three main Cornish breweries: Tribute (Best Drink at food Reader Awards 2013, Silver Medal at the Taste of the West Awards 2009, Winner of the SIBA South West awards 2007, Supreme Champion Cornish Ale, CAMRA Falmouth Beer Festival 2004) from the St Austell Brewery , Doom Bar (bronze in the International Beer Challenge 2011 and 2012 and Publican Licensees Choice Awards, 2010) from Sharps at Rock , and Betty Stoggs (CAMRA Best Bitter Gold 2008 plus many more awards) from Skinners of Truro .

We stock popular lagers and ciders such as Stella Artois, Carlsberg and Strongbow. Sharps Orchard Cornish Cider is very tasty and extremely popular when the weather is warm.

Not beer drinker? don't worry we have a range of wines, sold by the bottle and glass, for all tastes and budgets. A range of whiskeys including single malts, vodkas, brandies and liqueurs are also available.
