Our main menu has had a shake-up and honestly, we cant wait for you to try it. Its now a spread of hot and cold sharing plates, cooked fresh to order and brought over the second they're ready.
Nothing sits under a heat lamp; plates just keep arriving, and the table gets better with every one. Order a handful between you and share the lot - that's the whole idea.
Wednesday to Saturday. Eat in the restaurant, bar or use our outdoor seating area with amazing views of the bay and yes, dogs are very welcome.

SUNDAY ROAST LUNCH
Sundays just got better. From 12 till 3 every week, the roast at The Rising Sun is everything a Sunday should be — a proper plate, good Cornish ingredients, and the beach right outside the door.
Roast topside of beef and fresh horseradish, slow-cooked pork belly and Bramley apple, free-range chicken and bread sauce, or a cauliflower cheese steak done properly.
All the trimmings come with it — roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, charred hispi cabbage and lashings of gravy — plus cauliflower cheese and roasted roots for the table to share.
A glass of red, a cold pint, or a jug for the table while the afternoon drifts by. Bring the dog and take your time.
