A Night in The Blue Room
There's a moment every guest has in The Blue Room, usually the first morning, when they pull back the curtains and just stop. The cove is right there — the whole sweep of it, waves and all — and it genuinely never gets old, even for us.
It's a big, bright room with a king-size bed, and the kind of view that does most of the talking. We had a guest, Sarah, staying with her partner for three nights this week, and she put it best on her Instagram story — she called it breathtaking, and honestly, we couldn't have said it better ourselves.
The Blue Room is self-catering, so you've got a proper kitchenette to use as you please — air fryer, fridge, kettle, plates, cutlery, all of it. Perfect if you fancy a quiet night in with something simple rather than heading out every evening, or just want your morning coffee without getting dressed first.
It's an ideal base for exploring the coastal path too — Portmellon sits right on the route, so you can walk out the door, spend the day discovering the coves and cliffs either side of us, and come back to that same view waiting for you. For a couple after a proper getaway — a bit of luxury, a bit of quiet, and scenery you won't stop talking about — this is the room.
Book The Blue Room through the website, or give us a call if you'd rather talk it through first.
