Our Christmas market is on Saturday 5th December, 11am to 5pm, at The Rising Sun on the beach at Portmellon, a mile from Mevagissey.
Come down for a morning or an afternoon of Christmas shopping, with the sea outside the window and a pint or a coffee in your hand. There will be local gift makers and Christmas food stalls to browse.
What time is the Christmas market?
11am to 5pm on Saturday 5th December. The market is in our restaurant, so just walk straight in and have a browse.
Do I need to book?
No. If you're only coming for the market, just turn up. If you'd like lunch while you're here, book a table. As the restaurant is full of stalls, we'll seat you in the bar. December Saturdays fill up, so booking is worth it.
Mevagissey Christmas lights are the same day
The Mevagissey Christmas lights switch-on is also on Saturday 5th December, starting at 4pm at the harbour. The market runs until 5pm, so you can do both: market and lunch with us, then walk the mile into Mevagissey for the lights. It's about twenty minutes on foot along the coast road. Getting here and parking
The Rising Sun is at 2 Portmellon Park, Portmellon, Mevagissey, PL26 6PL. The Portmellon car park is next to the pub and is pay and display. If it's full, park in Mevagissey and walk down the coast road, about a mile.
What else is on that weekend?

Want to make a weekend of it? We have rooms upstairs, room only. Dogs are welcome in the pub, though not in the rooms.
