Live Music: Barney Kenny at The Rising Sun

Barney Kenny plays live at The Rising Sun in Portmellon on Sunday 25th October, 3pm to 5pm.

The clocks go back that morning, so you get an extra hour in bed and an extra hour for lunch. We can't think of a better way to spend it than a roast and a set from Barney.

Who is Barney Kenny?

Barney Kenny is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who plays acoustic guitar and lap steel slide guitar. His sound doesn't sit neatly in the "folk" box, Think storytelling and acoustic songs with a foot-stomping, delta-blues edge, drawing on world music, blues and rock.

What time is the music?

3pm to 5pm on Sunday 25th October, here at The Rising Sun, right on the beach at Portmellon, a mile from Mevagissey. Roasts are served 12 till 3, so come for lunch and stay for the music. Here's why our roast is worth the drive.

Do I need to book?

No booking needed for the music. Just come down and grab a spot. If you want a roast first, book a table, because Sunday lunch fills up.
