From now until Christmas there's live music at The Rising Sun almost every weekend. Sunday sessions run 3–5pm, our Christmas Party Sessions are on three Saturday nights (28 Nov, 12 Dec and 19 Dec, 7:30–9:30pm), and there's a Dead Western Halloween party on 31 October.

Sunday Sessions: 3 till 5, beachside, pint in hand
The Sunday session is our favourite part of the week. Live music from 3pm till 5pm, the beach on the doorstep, a roast dinner in your belly if you've been in at lunch. No tickets, no fuss, just turn up.
- Sunday 11 October, 3–5pm: Joe Hurworth. That's today, so get yourself down here.
- Sunday 1 November, 3–5pm: Dave Budd
- Sunday 8 November, 3–5pm: Alyssa Vine
- Sunday 6 December, 3–5pm: Joe Hurworth returns, back by popular demand
- Sunday 20 December, 3–5pm: Dave Budd, our Christmas Sunday Session and the last one before Christmas
Sunday roasts are served 12–3pm, so come early, eat well and stay for the music.
Christmas Party Sessions: three Saturday nights
This is the bit we're properly looking forward to. Three Saturday nights in the run-up to Christmas, live music from 7:30pm till 9:30pm, and the pub dressed for the season.
- Saturday 28 November, 7:30–9:30pm: Kaj Skjervik, with original songs and live covers
- Saturday 12 December, 7:30–9:30pm: The Payback
- Saturday 19 December, 7:30–9:30pm: Kaj Skjervik returns
Make a night of it. Our new Christmas sharing menu is built for exactly this: plates in the middle of the table, everyone picking, nobody rushing. Book a table if you want to eat, and book early. These nights fill up.
Planning a work Christmas do? Pair it with one of the Party Sessions. We host everything from small team dinners to full office parties, Get in touch early if you've got a date in mind.
